Last night was, well, interesting.
A lot of bedtime resistance. Tiny Boy didn't fall asleep until close to 10:00, despite being in bed at about 8:45. This is the problem of continued napping, which I'm sure will be phased out again when he moves to the 4-5 year old room at school next Sept.
But not a peep until 5:30ish. I gave him his milk, went back to bed. I think that was all I heard from him until a bit before 7:00, when he walked in to my room on his own. Happy. Rested.
I was awake about an hour earlier because I heard something like the storm siren. It turns out it was our cat who was locked on the porch ALL NIGHT. Oops.
There are a number of variables and issues here, and I suppose I should be more systematic to figure out what's going on.

- The placebo effect of the sleep consult itself? That is, me telling him the sleep doctor said to stay in his bed.
- He hasn't had milk products, beyond trace amounts in baked goods, for a few days.
- He's been on fish oil for about a month now (?).
- Variations in napping, bedtime, and wake time.
But I've had 6 nights of good sleep, which is enough to feel like I'm operating at full capacity. Yay that.

Yay sleep!
We're trying to figure out a similar mystery with eczema, though fortunately that mostly doesn't interrupt our sleep. And unfortunately, doing what the doctor recommends seems to cause flare-ups.
Ugh, sorry. Tiny Boy has mostly outgrown eczema, except in the deep throes of winter. Is it definitely allergy-related?
Nope! We have NO IDEA what is causing it.
